Ollas in the Community

Community Table – TN

Meet Sarah Needham-Taylor, the mind behind so much that happened at the Community Table Food Bank Garden in Memphis, Tennessee. She and her team of volunteers are another amazing group of people who made a difference in the lives of many.

To quote them, “The Community Table Garden was created in 2014, through a partnership with Huey’s & Memphis Tilth, on the old Anderton’s Seafood Restaurant lot in Midtown Memphis. The Community Table exists to grow safe, healthy food for our neighbors who need it.”

Sarah has since moved on, but has left a mark by sharing her passion and love with The First Congo Garden, in 2020. Even today, they continue to grow food for those in need.  Check them out on FB.
